Dr. Erich van Ham holds a Ph.D. degree in Fish Biology & Marine Science from the Catholic University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands, since 2003. He has participated in various collaborative aquaculture R&D projects related to fish and shrimp production in Norway, Greece, China and Australia, which were funded by the EU-FAIR and -LSF programs as well as the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences, and has worked for many years in the Greek Aquaculture Industry (Astakos Aquaculture Panagiotis Parpouras, Andromeda S.A. and Plagton S.A.). Since 2014 he has been working at the Department of Environment & Hydro-Economics of the Regional Unit Aetoloacarnania, Directorate of Environment & Spatial Planning in the Region of Western Greece.
